The BDR is the first point of contact for potential enterprise customers and is responsible for generating qualified pipelines by engaging prospects via multi-channel through the inbound and outbound channel. The BDR engages with and qualifies incoming leads sourced by the Marketing team. The BDR is also responsible for identifying prospects within potential mid-market customer accounts that could benefit from Storyblok, contacting senior decision makers within such organizations, and engaging them to convey our product's value. By educating ICPs on the problems Storyblok can solve, the main objective is to convert prospects into sales opportunities, grow a pipeline of potential business, and build rapport with senior stakeholders to develop great relationships between Storyblok and new customers.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSIdentify, generate, and qualify leads and prospects through inbound and outbound channelConduct high volume prospecting and engage with prospects through phone calls, emails and social media to generate quality opportunities for our Account ExecutivesAttend marketing events and conferences; network and build rapport with prospectsNurture long term relationships with prospects; help large enterprise companies realize the potential of our productDevelop new ideas and strategies for identifying and winning potential new enterprise customersWork closely with the Account Executive, align on pipeline-generating strategiesConsistently meet monthly and quarterly sales KPIsIdentify areas of improvement and implement new tactics and approaches, enhancing team's ability to generate pipeline in enterprise sectorThe candidate should ideally be based in Australia EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEA minimum of 1 year of outbound sales experience, preferably in technology sales) Technical experience in the SaaS field (especially CMS) is a plusTrack record of achieving sales quota and generating new opportunitiesAdept at cold calling, handling objections and booking meetings over the phoneFluency in EnglishExcellent communication skills - verbal and writtenExperience with outbound sales tactics and sales tech stackAccountable and strong drive to deliver results, work in sales and contribute to a fast-growing companySelf-motivated in a high autonomous, independent remote working cultureOTHER VALUED COMPETENCIESHighly motivated and drivenStrong sense of accountabilityTeam playerStrong work ethicResilientMENTAL, PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTSRemote (home) work opportunity or funded by Storyblok co-working spaceGENERAL TERMSStoryblok has a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
