Business Development Representative (BDR)Location: RemoteCompensation: Good base + uncapped commissionI am recruiting on behalf of a Fast-growing AI company delivering advanced financial insights and reporting to private equity and VC firms. Rapidly expanding across US and European markets.The OpportunityWe need a hungry, intelligent prospector who can open doors with CFOs, finance directors, and C-suite executives. You'll build pipeline for our Enterprise Account Executives, identify high-value opportunities, and set the stage for complex sales cycles. This is a launchpad role-top performers move into closing roles within 12-18 months.What You'll DoGenerate qualified pipeline through outbound prospecting (calls, emails, LinkedIn, events)Research and identify target accounts across private equity and VC firmsBook qualified meetings for Enterprise Account ExecutivesConduct initial discovery calls with finance and C-suite executivesArticulate Planr's value proposition to sophisticated buyersCollaborate closely with AEs on account strategy and messagingMaintain detailed activity metrics and CRM hygieneAttend 2-3 industry conferences annually (travel 10-15%)Partner with Marketing on campaign feedback and lead qualityWhat We NeedNon-negotiable:1-3 years B2B sales, BDR, or business development experience (SaaS/tech preferred)Self-starter with strong work ethic-you're driven by targets and competitionExcellent written and verbal communication skillsComfortable engaging with senior executives-CFOs and finance leaders don't intimidate youCoachable with a growth mindset-you want to learn enterprise salesResilient-you handle rejection and stay motivatedStrong research and organizational skillsFinancially curious-you understand business metrics and can speak intelligently about ROITeam player who collaborates effectively with AEs and MarketingComfortable working mainly office-based for training and collaborationBachelor's degree preferredWhat Sets You ApartYou're smart, ambitious, and competitive-you want to be a top performerPrevious experience prospecting into finance, private equity, or VC firmsUnderstanding of financial software, reporting, or analyticsTrack record of exceeding activity and pipeline generation targetsYou're articulate and can quickly grasp complex conceptsGenuine interest in moving into enterprise sales closing rolesIf you're hungry to break into enterprise SaaS sales and willing to outwork the competition, let's talk.
