Location: Dublin, as part of our hybrid working model – 3 days in office per week. Grade: Associate Director Contract type: Permanent We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Business Development Manager to support the strategic growth agenda of our high growth sectors – such as Energy & Resources, Real Estate, Technology, Government and Retail.This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the growth of our firm, supporting major account and sector heads in achieving our growth ambition. Central to the role will be the need to drive streamlined and effective account management practices, consistent sales and go to market processes, the conversion of our must-win opportunities, pipeline management, revenue and reporting mechanisms.Key pillars of this role will include Relationship Management, Account Management, Account Based Marketing, Opportunity Management, Sales Management, Revenue/Pipeline and Reporting Management.This role sits within the central Markets and Business Development team within KPMG, with a dual line of reporting into the Head of Business Development and Sector Head.The role is not intended to be client/market facing, it is positioned as a pivotal role in supporting the growth of our business, by supporting the work of our Sector Heads and Sector leadership teamsA Snapshot Of Your Peer Group Qualified to degree level or equivalent 10+ years’ experience gained in industry or professional services, working in a senior Business Development/Commercial role. Experience in driving growth in large accounts Strong commercial acumen, growth orientation and sales focus Comfortable in using pipeline and CRM systems for revenue tracking and reporting. Excellent relationship development and networking ability - working as part of a team and independently Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to positively drive change and influence the decision-making process Excellent organisational skills and project management ability Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including PowerPoint and Excel Your responsibilities and achievements will evolve as you enhance your career with us. Here is what you can initially expect: Support the Head of Sector and their sector leadership team in the development and execution of our go-to-market strategy across key accounts and sectors. Drive best practice Account Management for priority Accounts: Assist in the identification of major growth opportunities and the development of appropriate strategies to target them. Drive cross-selling and upselling across key accounts – mapping client issues to KPMG solutions - bringing one KPMG to the client Account based Marketing Relationship mapping and CRM Management Support in the identification and conversion of must-win opportunities, using best-practice sales management to increase win probability Drive best-practice pipeline management - ensure good utilisation of pipeline and monthly dashboards to track revenue performance and win/loss analysis etc Track and report on account and sector performance on a regular basis - produce pipeline and revenue dashboards for FS Markets and Sector Leadership Execute focused action on cross-sector themes like KPMG Alliances, ESG, KPMG Law, AI etc. Support strategic inputs into significant pursuits – ensuring the value proposition is well articulated. Maintain a good knowledge of the sector ecosystem within KPMG and ensure alignment with the firm’s wider business strategy and also the EMA sector strategy Build strong relationships throughout the firm, locally and globally, in order to leverage joint go-to-market proposals and initiatives Build network of strong working relationships across sector community - in particular with EMA Sector Leadership Community, Regional Sector Executives etc Discover How KPMG Can Enrich Your Life Beyond Your Career Benefits Tailored For YouAt KPMG, we understand that life is multifaceted.
