The role QEC is growing, with a new Early Parenting Centre in Hastings opening late 2025 and a new client information management system now in place. With this growth, we have a newly created role at QEC for an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to help shape new system reporting, develop a strong data culture and bring QEC into the future. The Business Intelligence Analyst will proactively engage with multiple key stakeholders to translate business requirements into insightful analytical models, reports and dashboards that support the organizations key strategic and operational objectives. The Business Intelligence Analyst plays a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making across QEC with the implementation of effective and engaging reports to identify trends, drive service outcomes and performance improvements. This permanent role is offered as part-time or 0.6FTE (22.8 hours per week) and is primarily based at Noble Park with occasional travel to regional Victorian sites. About you To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate:Bachelor's degree in information systems, data analytics, data science, Statistics, Computer Science, business analytics, or a related field.Experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence (3-5+ years preferred).Strong understanding in business processes, KPIs and performance measurement.Proven experience developing solutions with SQL, Excel, and at least one BI tool (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).Experience with ETL tools, ETL design and Data modelling,Knowledge of statistical methods and tools (e.g. Python, R desirable).Strong data visualisation and storytelling skills.Experience working with relational databases and data integration processesExcellent communication, organisational skills and ability to be self-directed Benefits of working with us Generous public sector salary packaging25 days annual leave (pro rata for part time) & Flexibility around working days & hoursExtensive training, study leave and opportunities for professional developmentAccess to QEC's wellbeing program, Employee Assistance Program and team building activitiesFree onsite car parking How to apply To apply, please provide the following:A cover letter outlining your suitability to the position’s Key Selection Criteria (refer Position Description)Your resume outlining education and employment background.
