Senior Insights Analyst ( SQL / GCP / Tableau )Initial 6 months day rate contractSydney / HybridWe’re looking for a Senior Insights Analyst ( SQL / GCP / Tableau ) to join a high-performing analytics team and play a key role in driving a customer-first, data-driven decision-making culture. If you love solving complex problems, influencing stakeholders, and turning data into meaningful action, this role will give you huge visibility and real impact.Day to day responsibilities for the Senior Insights Analyst ( SQL / GCP / Tableau ) includes :Partner with Marketing, Product, and cross-functional teams to design data-led customer propositions.Analyse customer, product, and campaign behaviour to uncover opportunities and guide commercial decisions.Deliver clear, actionable insights, dashboards, and recommendations that influence strategy.Develop and enhance measurement frameworks across customer metrics, sales, ROI, and campaign performance.Support experimentation and test-and-learn programs to drive performance improvements.Manage ad-hoc analytical requests and prioritise a pipeline of work across diverse stakeholders.Contribute to the development of self-service analytics tools and data products.Mentor junior analysts and play a key role in uplifting analytical capability across the business.Champion agile ways of working and continuous improvement.You’re someone who:Has strong analytical, problem-solving and storytelling skills.Can translate complex data into insights that influence decisions at all levels.Communicates confidently and builds strong stakeholder relationships.Works autonomously, takes ownership, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.Has strong attention to detail and a passion for improving processes and outcomes.Required experience for the Senior Insights Analyst ( SQL / GCP / Tableau ) includes :2+ years in insights, customer analytics, or data analytics roles (more experience welcome).Strong SQL skills (BigQuery/GCP experience a big plus).Proficient in Google Suite, Excel; experience with Tableau/Power BI preferred.Experience with Python or R is a nice bonus.Background in retail, FMCG, or marketing analytics is highly regarded.Degree in a quantitative field such as Maths/Stats, Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, etc.You’ll work on diverse, meaningful problems, influence big decisions, collaborate with great people, and help shape the future of customer insights.
