To support our growing presence in Europe, we are looking for a Business Support Manager (Operational excellence, Solution design and Engineering) to join our team in Venlo, the Netherlands.What you do on a typical dayDrive continuous improvement initiatives by overseeing the design, development, and implementation of automated and scalable operational solutionsStart initiative projects including engineering, solution design and create business cases and drive successful implementationsCollaborate closely with Data Analysts to interpret operational data, generate actionable insights, and translate them into practical process enhancementsLeverage dashboards and reports to proactively identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization across departmentsLead cross-functional projects to implement data-driven changes, improving productivity, operational efficiency, and service qualityOversee inventory control operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and the application of process automation where possibleProvide leadership and day-to-day management of the team, fostering a culture of innovation and alignment with site goalsWhat you need to succeed at GXO Proven experience logistics engineering and solution design and familiar with continuous improvementPrior experience in contract logistics is a pre-requisiteGood understanding of automation technologies and their application within a logistics environmentDemonstrated people management skills, with the ability to lead, develop, and motivate teams effectivelyProven project management experience and a mindset focused on continuous improvementFluent English and preferably native Dutch, combined with excellent verbal and written communication skills What we offer youAn attractive remuneration packageA dynamic organization, in which space for personal input and development is centralManaging your own success and the necessary support in your developmentA position with a lot of responsibility, in which no day is the sameA pleasant working atmosphere with nice colleagues in logisticsUnlock the potential of your future!
