Business Systems Analyst

We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst for a 12-month contract position, with possible extensions in Calgary, Alberta. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.This position is 100% on site, downtown Calgary. Role DescriptionWe are seeking a Business Systems Analyst with experience in the oil and gas industry, ideally within E&P companies, to support our client's Accounting and Finance systems. The successful candidate will bring strong business analysis expertise combined with a solid technical background to ensure the effective support and optimization of the business applications.ResponsibilitiesSupport, coordinate, and manage ongoing upgrades, maintenance, and issue resolution.Lead/support systems implementation, including requirements gathering, process mapping and test coordination.Liaise with auditors, business users and ITS members to support CSOX and GITC audits.Manage testing cycles for system upgrades, including working with the business users and vendors to ensure upgrades/changes are successful and have minimum impact on users.Develop effective relationships with business stakeholders and system vendors.Perform change management processes to ensure adequate control of systems and information.Required Skills and ExperienceStrong core Business Analysis skills.Minimum of 2 years supporting Accounting and Finance department.Must have experience in the administration and support of finance and accounting systems, specifically Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O and/or OpenInvoice.Experience in the Oil &Gas sector is highly desired.Experience in implementing workforce management solutions from planning through deployment and adoption is a strong asset.Can work in a very dynamic environment and adapt to rapid changes.Able to handle competing requests and prioritize work accordingly.Self-starter that takes initiative when it comes to completing all necessary tasks.Able to work in a team environment as well as independently.Effective communication skills.Please note that while all applications are appreciated, only candidates selected for interview will be contacted.InSync Systems Inc. is a privately-owned boutique Canadian Resourcing and Consulting Services Company that works closely with a range of corporate clients across multiple industries to bring them solutions that effectively address their business needs.
