Job DescriptionAbout the PositionBusiness Systems Analyst is a key member of the project team, contributing to the planning and project execution from ideation, through to completion.They consistently drive results by identifying opportunities to optimize the way they work, remove project or team roadblocks, and are focused on outcomes that will exceed stakeholder expectations and add the most business value.We embrace a culture challenging the status quo and constantly look to efficiently simplify processes, technology, and workflow.What You'll DoUnderstand the business problem the project is tasked with solving and ensure project team does not lose sight of itWork with project team on defining and managing project scopeDevelop business workflows by creating AS IS and TO BE diagrams using MS Visio Create, monitor and constant review of sprint plans looking for opportunities to optimize where applicable Collaborate on roadmap design, planning and prioritizationOrganize and lead working sessions and project update meetings within various levels of the organizationWork closely with business and technical team members in support of project deliverablesIdentify project issues/roadblocks and steps for resolution and mitigationProvide feedback and recommendations on project and process improvementsWhat You'll BringPrevious BSA experience with Agile and Scrum Master experienceStrong RTM and RTG system knowledgeHands-on BSA experience with integrations involving data, finance, and risk modeling downstream systemsStrong insurance knowledge and commitment to continuous learningCustomer/business focused, strong stakeholder management and results orientedConsistent focus on business outcomes and benefitsExceptional critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent planning and organization skillsSuperior communication skills, formal and informalProcess oriented when creating and maintaining project artifactsTime management skills with the ability to establish priorities and effective follow-upMust be a team-player, a team builder and a driverSelf-starter with ability to work independentlyDemonstrate project ownership/end to end accountabilityExhibit leadership skills including the ability to communicate project vision and drive resultsAbility to be flexible in a fast-paced environment
