Business Systems Analyst

MatchBox Consulting Group is currently seeking a Business Systems Analyst for a 6 month contract role with a client of ours located in Vancouver.ResponsibilitiesSupporting a retail workforce management project implementing labour forecasting and schedulingCollaborating with various business stakeholders to develop business requirements detailing user stories, use cases, and flow diagrams to support development design and build activitiesSupporting development and quality assurance teams to create necessary design and test artifacts based on business requirements Ensuring stakeholders are consulted and accepting of the technology product at each step of the development journey Developing subject matter expertise in specific retail domains, ensuring that the technology product maintains exceptional quality when delivered to productionWorking alongside internal and external development teams and technology SaaS vendors to implement new technology products, clarifying any questions relating to business requirements or process along the way Working with Agile teams contributing to successful sprint objectivesClarifying questions and providing documentation to support completion of development and test phasesCreating understandable visual representations to communicate complex concepts and models for various target audienceRequirements5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, working on agile projects related to retail or workforce managementExperience with UKG Pro configuration and functional setup related to labour scheduling and forecasting Experience with working in an Agile methodologyExperience with API development / microservicesExcellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of stakeholders to be able to explain, articulate, and document concepts, business processes, systems and business requirements efficientlyPossess a high level of analytical and critical thinkingStrong troubleshooting skillsExperience using JIRAProactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutionsFor more current job opportunities, Follow MatchBox at linkedin.com/company/matchbox-recruitment/_________________________About MatchBoxHeadquartered in downtown Vancouver and serving clients nationally, MatchBox is one of the leading recruitment and solutions firms that specializes in the fields of IT & Technology, Engineering & Technical, Real Estate & Construction, and Accounting & Finance.
