At BIC World, you are empowered to take ownership of your career and use your unique perspective to make a meaningful, global impact on our mission.As a Business Unit Shift Supervisor, you will be a member of the production team, ensuring the smooth operation of Production Department, to best meet production needs within the predefined time and quality requirements.In this role you will:Act in the most effective, efficient, and safest manner and according to the principles of BIC to:Ensure department’s continuous production and capacity during the shift Contribute to quality assurance projects/ processes/ instructions by performing all duties/ actions indicated in them Ensure compliance with company’s safety and environmental policy and procedures Contribute to the introduction of new products/materials in the production area Contribute to continuous improvement efforts Ensure and per case deliver employee training on all job-related activities covering Safety, Quality, Machine/Product specific, One-point lessons (OPLs) Report daily to BU management on the shift’s performance and provide weekly feedback on the KPIs Collaborate with other department's supervisors and manage his/her team members (holidays, absenteeism, replacement etc.) To check compliance with health, safety and environmental rules at work by team members under their supervision, in accordance with company ‘s policy and prescribed procedures What you'll bring to BIC:Bachelor’s degree from Technical University (preferably Mechanical Engineering) 3+ years of working experience in manufacturing or industrial environment People management experienceAbility to work in 3 shifts English level: Intermediate+ Ability to manage multiple tasks and set priorities Strong written and verbal communication skills Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Team-player BIC World is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
