The role also handles petty purchases, vehicle servicing requests, and invoice reconciliation to ensure efficient and cost‑effective operations.Key Responsibilities IncludeSourcing and evaluating supplier quotations for approvalCreating and managing Purchase OrdersLiaising with local and international suppliers to meet required lead timesEnsuring goods received are properly receipted by the Invoicing and Receipting Section and purchase orders are closed outHandling petty purchasesManaging all vehicle servicing requestsReconciling supplier invoices for paymentWorking towards achieving set departmental KPIsAdhering to all Sandvik policies and procedures, especially SHEQ standardsQualificationMinimum bachelor’s degree in Purchasing & SupplyPart qualification in CIPS or an equivalent professional certificationIntermediate proficiency in MS Office applicationsMinimum of three (3) years’ experience in a similar roleExperience in technical analysisWorking knowledge of Aurora SoftwareExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to work effectively within a multidisciplinary teamValid driver’s license (preferably Class B) and ability to driveAdherence to all Sandvik policies and procedures, especially SHEQ standardsReporting RelationshipSenior BuyerApplicationFor immediate consideration, please apply to the Buyer position before March 8, 2026, on the Sandvik intranet, Job ID: R0088784We thank all applicants for their interest, however, only candidates shortlisted for an interview will be contacted.Hiring LocationPakyi-Kumasi
