In this role, you’ll be the backbone of our buying operations, ensuring data accuracy, seamless coordination across departments, and smooth execution of key milestones. Your support will enable our Buying team to focus on strategy, product development, and driving business growth. Reporting into, and working closely with our Head of Buying, you’ll support the team in connecting creative ideas with commercial outcomes, helping bring our seasonal collections to life across all product categories.This is a permanent, full-time position based in our Sydney Support Office. Key responsibilities include: Support the Buying and Planning teams across all product categories, from Boutique to Outlet.Coordinate with Design, Marketing, E-commerce, and Retail teams to align timelines and product information.Maintain buying trackers and reports to ensure accuracy across pricing, margins, and deliveries.Prepare line sheets, track samples, and assist with showroom and product launch preparations.Collate sales reports, trend insights, and competitor research to support commercial decisions.Input confirmed buys and manage product data updates throughout the lifecycle.Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve data processes.Provide proactive administrative support and contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture.What we are looking for:A tertiary qualification in Business, Fashion, or a related field.Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP or PLM systems (preferred but not essential)Understanding of the retail buying process and product lifecycle.Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships.Analytical mindset with a commercial understanding of pricing, sales, and margin.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under pressure.A proactive, team-oriented attitude and a passion for fashion and retail.Benefits and Culture:In joining Oroton, you will be joining a group of talented, fun and supportive individuals who are all committed to their craft and to the enduring success of this Australian iconic brand.
