📌 Position: CAD Constructor (Upper 2D Pattern) – Technical Department📍 Location: ECCO Vietnam – Bau Bang Industrial Park, Binh Duong, Vietnam🕒 Working hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM🔹 Job SummaryAs a Pattern Developer, you will be responsible for creating and developing footwear patterns that meet ECCO’s design, functional, and quality standards. This role plays a crucial part in translating creative concepts into technical patterns ready for production. You will also provide technical follow-up throughout the development and production stages to ensure consistency, efficiency, and accuracy across the upper production line.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. Pattern DevelopmentReview and verify input requirements from Design to ensure alignment with ECCO Standards.Develop and adjust shoe patterns, apply size grading rules accurately, and ensure technical feasibility.Coordinate with CAD Constructors (from external montage unit or HQ) to discuss any design adjustments or deviations.Prepare and hand over patterns for all development stages — from base size to full size range — to the Pilot Room for sample making.Collaborate closely with BOM Administrator, GDM Specialist, Pro-Cost Specialist, and Upper Technicians to ensure all technical information is up-to-date.Follow up on sample and pre-production activities, ensuring constructions are optimized for mass production; make adjustments when needed.Prepare RACE reports (Risk Assessment and Cost Effectiveness) for every article.Provide specification drawings and prepare patterns for cutting dies and production jigs.2. Production Follow-upMonitor the upper production process to identify issues or potential improvements.Ensure correct use and maintenance of jigs, tools, and cutting dies.Support production teams in solving technical issues and optimizing efficiency.3. Reporting & CoordinationProvide regular updates and reports to the Technical and Production Preparation Manager.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and technical standardization.REQUIREMENTSEducation:Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Footwear Manufacturing, or related fields.Diploma holders with strong technical expertise in footwear may also be considered.Experience:Minimum 3 years of experience in footwear pattern development, shoe construction, or technical product development.Experience working with CAD Dimensions or similar pattern design software is a strong advantage.Technical & Soft Skills:Solid understanding of footwear construction processes.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Proficient in English (especially in technical writing and reporting).Computer literate (Microsoft Office, CAD tools).Attention to detail and passion for product quality and craftsmanship.COMPENSATION & BENEFITSAt ECCO Vietnam, we care for your well-being and growth.
