Our client is a market leader in the Aviation Sector looking for a Facility Manager responsible for ensuring the continuous, safe, and efficient operation of all facilities and assets. Job responsibilities will include: Oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and repair of all facilities, including terminals, and ancillary buildings. Manage and optimize the performance of critical building systems, utilities (power, water, HVAC), and all MEP infrastructure. Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to maximize asset lifespan and minimize operational disruptions. Lead and supervise a team of technicians and contractors, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
Coordinate with various airport departments and external stakeholders to facilitate projects, upgrades, and emergency responses. Manage facility-related budgets, procurements, and contracts efficiently and cost-effectively. Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, codes, and environmental standards. Key skills and qualifications required: Must have bachelor’s degree in facility management, engineering or relevant discipline. Must have 8-10 experience in managing the operations of large facilities, construction and infrastructure with 2-3 years of experience in a managerial capacity. Knowledge of ICAO standards and local facility and building regulatory requirements. Must have communication proficiency in English and French.
Proven expertise in managing complex building systems, utilities, and MEP services within large-scale facilities. Strong understanding of facility management best practices, preventative maintenance, and asset lifecycle management. Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships effectively.
