Lewisham CAMHS are delighted to be advertising 1 new CYP-PT training post for our under 5's early childhood pathway.We are looking for committed and enthusiastic CAMHS practitioner, who is highly motivated and enthusiastic about making a difference to children’s mental health through evidence-based interventions based on NICE Guideline recommended treatment.You may be a nurse, social worker or occupational therapist or other professional with experience of working in CAMHS or transferable skills. The successful post-holders will complete a post-graduate diploma through University College London working in one of our multi-disciplinary clinical teams. The post will be based in our Core CAMHS Team. You will be expected to carry a clinical caseload, including delivering therapy according to your training modality.Lewisham CAMHS is comprised of eight multi-disciplinary teams as follows: Core Team (Horizon), Neuro Developmental Team (NDT), Paediatric Liaison Service, SYMBOL Team (Looked After Children), Adolescent Treatment Team, Child Wellbeing Programme, Adolescent Resource and Therapy Service (ARTS) and Mental health in Schools Team (MHST).You will be committed to the CYP Psychological Training Programme core principles: Accessibility, accountability, participation, awareness and evidence-based practice and in providing an inclusive and effective service for children and young people, along with a dedication to equity, diversity and inclusion.We are looking for committed and enthusiastic CAMHS practitioners who would like to undertake training in our under 5's models/modalities of evidence-based therapy. You may be a nurse, social worker or occupational therapist or other professional with experience of working in CAMHS or transferrable skills.The successful post-holders will complete a post-graduate diploma through University College London , whilst working in one of our multi-disciplinary clinical teams. Posts will be based in our Under 5's Team as part of Horizon.
