Our vision is to deliver refined, authentic experiences that build lasting connections and elevate corporate travel and group events.We are looking for a dynamic, relationship-driven professional to join our team and help expand our corporate group business.Position SummaryThe Business Development Manager – Corporate Group Sales will drive revenue growth for Camp Lucy by identifying, developing, and securing corporate group business including retreats, incentive trips, meetings, leadership events, and team-building programs.This role will focus on proactive outbound sales, strategic partnership development, and nurturing relationships with local and surrounding area businesses, corporate planners, DMCs, and travel decision-makers. The BDM will collaborate closely with the banquets, lodging, and account management teams to ensure an exceptional guest and client experience from introduction through program execution.Key ResponsibilitiesProspecting & Lead GenerationProactively source new corporate group opportunities within targeted industries and marketsUtilize networking, outbound outreach, social selling, and industry events to generate qualified leadsDevelop key relationships with corporate meeting planners, DMCs, HR/People teams, and executive administratorsMaintain detailed pipeline reports and lead follow-up to ensure all opportunities are actively pursuedSales DevelopmentManage incoming corporate group inquiries through the full sales and booking cycleConduct discovery conversations to understand organizational needs, program goals, and budget parametersPresent the Camp Lucy experience, property amenities, and event capabilities to prospective clientsBuild customized corporate retreat and group proposals and assist in pricing strategyConduct property tours and host site visits for prospective clientsSupport marketing initiatives and represent Camp Lucy at trade shows and corporate networking eventsRevenue & Pipeline ManagementDevelop and execute a targeted sales plan to meet and exceed revenue goalsMaintain an active corporate group pipeline and consistently convert opportunities to contracted businessBalance outbound activity with account development and on-site client engagementClient Relationship & ContractingNurture relationships through the full sales cycle from inquiry to bookingEnsure timely and accurate documentation in Delphi systemCollaborate with account management and banquets teams to ensure seamless event execution and client satisfactionEnsure contracts, deposits, and event terms are completed and aligned with company policiesChampion Whim core values in all internal and external interactionsMarket & Competitive InsightMaintain understanding of corporate meetings/travel trends, competitor offerings, and key industry developmentsProvide feedback to leadership on market shifts and emerging corporate program opportunitiesTeam CollaborationPartner closely with banquets, lodging, management, and account management teamsSupport the development of sales materials and corporate event programmingParticipate in weekly sales meetings Skills & CompetenciesStrong relationship-building skills and executive presenceExceptional communication and presentation skillsCreative problem-solver with consultative sales approachAbility to manage multiple priorities with attention to detailExperience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office SuiteWork EnvironmentPrimarily on-property with local travel for meetings and eventsFlexible schedule including occasional evenings, weekends, and travel Must be comfortable conducting onsite tours and walking the propertyPowered by JazzHRrnWeN27Inw
