It is an opportunity unlike any other in the cannabis industry.Position Summary/ObjectiveVIBE Cannabis is looking for a responsible and experienced individual to join our company as a Transportation Team Member. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for loading trucks for deliveries, checking and ensuring orders are complete and correct, delivering orders to our customers with a smile and pleasant attitude and maintaining strict compliance with all State and Company regulations.Previous experience as a Security Guard is preferred. Active Weapon and Security permits will receive special consideration. This individual is a key member of the Company that will interact with our customers daily. A positive attitude and friendly demeanor is paramount! We plan to have this position state on or around June 13th.Responsibilities (Essential Duties And Responsibilities)Perform required pre-trip inspection and paperworkPick up and transport parcels, packages, and all other incoming/outgoing deliverables as per DHSS compliance and standardsCoordinate with supervisors to track incoming and completed ordersEnsure package safety and observe transportation requirements, such as with frozen or perishable deliveriesEnsure compliance with all relevant safety regulationsResponsible for reviewing and verifying manifest for accuracy at each approved stopResponsible for the tracking, security, and accurate delivery of items to an approved point of contactResponsible for loading and unloading vehicle safely, with proper lifting techniqueResponsible for adhering to security procedures for all facilitiesFollow company policy for fueling, maintenance, and cleanliness of vehicleFollow approved delivery schedule, routes, and drop-off/pick-up areasResponsible for maintaining the integrity of all confidential informationResponsible for adhering to all DHSS regulationsPractice safe driving proceduresProvide friendly customer service to every clientCreate a positive customer experience to internal and external customersPerform additional duties/tasks as assignedQualifications (Knowledge, skills, and abilities that help you do your job!)High School DiplomaAble to work in loud areasAble to lift 75 poundsCapable of working in dark or bright environmentsAble to work in low oxygen areasCapable of working with or around caustic and potentially harmful chemicalsUnderstands compliance regulations and adheres to SOPs for specialized areasAt least 21 years of ageWilling to participate in an extensive background checkDriver's license and reliable transportationComputer Literature (Work, Excel, PowerPoint)What Will Make You Special (Things you do not need but will help you stand out!)Security Experience PreferredWeapons TrainingExperience driving 12' Box Trucks or largerBachelor's / Associates Degree in related fieldsKnowledge of the cannabis plant and other related productsCompetenciesCommitment to ExcellenceTeam PlayerResults FocusedAttention to Detail.Communication SkillsSafety and Compliance
