Job Summary: The Camera Technician will be primarily responsible for the end-to-end production of high-quality 360 virtual tours, encompassing scanning, processing, and client delivery. This role also involves executing professional photography and videography assignments using a range of equipment, alongside essential photo editing tasks. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, creatively driven, and committed to delivering outstanding visual content.Key Responsibilities360 Virtual Tour Production:Conduct on-site 360 virtual tour scans of properties and spaces using specialized 360 cameras/equipment (Real360 and Matterport).Upload raw scan data to designated processing platforms.Monitor the processing of virtual tour models, ensuring accuracy, quality and timely delivery.Prepare and deliver final virtual tour products to clients timely via email.Photography & EditingCapture high-quality interior and exterior photographs of properties and spaces using DSLR cameras and/or mobile device.Perform comprehensive photo editing, including color correction, exposure adjustment, retouching, and cropping, to enhance image quality for all photographic and 360 tour visuals.Ensure all photographic assets meet company standards for composition, lighting, and resolution.VideographyShoot compelling video footage primarily using mobile devices for dynamic content.Experience with more advanced videography equipment (e.g., mirrorless cameras, gimbals, drones) to capture professional-grade video content will be advantageous.Apply fundamental videography principles including framing, lighting, and movement.Equipment ManagementMaintain and care for all assigned camera, scanning, and lighting equipment.Ensure all equipment is in good working order and ready for assignments.Requirements & QualificationsProven experience (minimum 2 years preferred) in 360 virtual tour scanning and/or photography/videography.Proven photography and videography skills using mobile devices, with strong experience or knowledge of more advanced videography equipment and techniques (e.g., using lighting, gimbals).Proficiency in photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).Familiarity with 360 virtual tour platforms (e.g., Matterport) is highly advantageous.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently.Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics.Excellent time management and organizational skills.Possession of own professional camera equipment (DSLR) is a plus.Good To HaveWell-Presented: Professional demeanour and appearance when interacting with clients on-site.Responsible: Highly reliable, punctual, and committed to meeting deadlines and ensuring deliverable quality.Team Player: Able to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients to achieve goals.
