About The ProjectThe Ōtaki to North of Levin (Ō2NL) highway will dramatically improve safety, resilience, and efficiency, while increasing transport choices for a growing population. The project is being delivered in partnership with NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi, Muaūpoko Tribal Authority, local hapū of Ngāti Raukawa ki te Tonga, and Horowhenua District Council.This is a transformative infrastructure project being delivered using a two-alliance model. Our shared project principles include treading lightly on the whenua, building strong partnerships, and delivering an enduring legacy. We’re looking for great people to join us on this unique journey.About The RoleWorking under the direction of the Leading Hand / Foreperson and other site supervisors, Carpenters contribute to the safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of tasks that help build resilient infrastructure and lasting community connections.RoleThis is a hands-on role requiring physical capability, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to teamwork and safety. The role will be involved in a variety of tasks, including:Assisting with site establishment and compound setupSupporting the construction of hardstands and crane pads for underpassesCarting and placing materialsContributing to road subgrade construction (RSC)Performing general earthworks and support tasks as requiredAbout YouYou will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in formwork carpentry on construction projects.Proven expertise in site works relating to concrete structuresSolid knowledge of HS&E and focused on safety and care, with a good safety record Trade qualifications relevant to the construction industry Self-motivated and driven to meet targets and schedulesDon’t tick all the boxes but still keen?We know that great people come from all kinds of backgrounds.
