Employment Type: Permanent Full Time Location: Dapto with flexible hybrid working arrangementsAs a Case Manager for our Family Based Care team, you will collaborate closely with children, young people, their families and carers to create and implement case plans that strive towards achieving the permanency goals of those we support.You'll build and maintain strong, functional relationships with both the children and their families, ensuring that every voice is heard and every need is met. Your efforts will be pivotal in supporting and monitoring placements, guiding carers in their foster care journey and helping them implement effective strategies that best support the children and young people within their care.Learn more about Life Without Barriers services for Children, Young People & Families here: https://www.lwb.org.au/services/child-youth-and-family/Role RequirementsRelevant bachelor’s degree such as Social Work, Social Welfare, Psychology or similar (A qualification is desirable but not essential for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants with relevant experience)Previous case management experience within an Out of Home Care (OOHC) /Child Protection settingExperience supporting Children & Young People with disability, who have experienced backgrounds of trauma, abuse and/or neglect.Working understanding of the NSW Permanency Support ProgramUnderstanding of trauma and its effects on children and young peopleCurrent unrestricted drivers’ licence Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and NSW Working with Children CheckHow To ApplyInclude your resume and covering letter in one document, click ‘Apply’ and follow the prompts.
