Right now, we're bidding for an exciting education project and are on the lookout for a Learning Designer. This role is central to co-designing, developing, and delivering blended learning modules that hit the sweet spot between engaging, practical, and accessible. You'll be the connector—bringing together experts, local educators, and training providers to make learning materials that really work for different audiences. RequirementsThis is what we're looking for - we'd love to meet someone who:
Knows their stuff when it comes to learning design and developmentCan create blended learning modules using best-practice instructional designTurns tricky, technical content into clear, engaging learning experiences (bonus points for interactive or multimedia magic)Has experience with co-design facilitation—working hand-in-hand with experts and communitiesMakes sure learning is inclusive, accessible, and works even in low-bandwidth settingsValues community and cultural knowledge, and can weave it into content in authentic waysExtra awesome if you bring:
Experience in early childhood education in FijiKnowledge of adult learning principles and culturally responsive pedagogyFamiliarity with online learning platforms (Moodle, Canvas, Articulate, Rise) and maybe even AI toolsStrong digital design and facilitation skillsA passion for building high-quality learning experiences for remote and hard-to-reach learnersFluency in local languages as well as understanding of indigenous knowledge and cultureMore information about the opportunity can be found here.
