In this role, you will contribute to shaping a robust and sustainable supply chain strategy that ensures our long-term success.What is the role about?You will lead the global category for Forging/Flanges and other mechanical technologies, taking ownership for defining, implementing, and executing the global category strategy in close collaboration with cross-functional teams across all sites worldwide.Which tasks will you perform?You Willlead the global Forging/Flanges category as well as other mechanical technologies.define, implement, and execute the global category strategy in alignment with business and supply chain goals.conduct continuous procurement market analyses and supplier evaluations to improve costs, quality, and availability.identify and implement cost optimization and global sourcing initiatives.actively manage risks related to components, suppliers, and procurement markets.collaborate closely with local and global cross-functional teams including engineering, logistics, and quality management.What do we expect from you?Youhave a technical degree (university/university of applied sciences) or a degree as a certified purchaser, ideally with additional training in supply management.bring several years of experience in a comparable role, ideally in sourcing mechanical components within a global scope.are proficient in MS Office; SAP knowledge is an advantage.have strong leadership, interpersonal, intercultural, and communication skills.possess comprehensive knowledge of the global sourcing markert and its trends, as well as analytical and conceptual strengths with proficient negotiation abilities in German and English.are characterized by a flexible, reliable, and socially competent personality and are willing to travel internationally.What can you expect from us?We support sustainable mobility through public transport subsidies to make commuting easier.We provide state-of-the-art facilities with ergonomic workstations to ensure comfort and productivity.We prioritize employee well-being through a comprehensive company pension scheme and access to various health and wellness offers.We promote family-friendly policies, including daycare places and childcare services during school holidays, to help balance professional and family life.We foster lifelong learning through diverse training and development opportunities, internal knowledge transfer, and e-learning.How do you apply?To apply, we kindly ask you to upload your documents on our career page.
