Job DescriptionThe IT/OT Support Administrator provides Level 2 and Level 3 desktop and infrastructure support for a chemical manufacturing site. The position includes field service responsibilities, coordination with global IT teams, and supporting the implementation of IT and OT projects.Key focus areas includeEnd user support (hardware, software, peripherals)Supporting IT Infrastructure, IT Security, Manufacturing ApplicationsIT-OT integration and coordination between engineering, operations, and project teamsDocumentation, asset tracking, incident handling, and change managementSupport for industrial control systems (ICS), process control networks, and automation environmentsAbout The CustomerThe role sits within the Global Field Service Organization, supporting multiple IT and Manufacturing functions, including IT Infrastructure and Operations, Security Engineering and Operations, and Manufacturing IT Applications.The position acts as a bridge between global IT teams and the local manufacturing site, ensuring proper IT-OT integration, support and execution of both IT and manufacturing projects.RequirementsRequired QualificationsA+ certification or equivalent networking experienceCCNA Cisco Certified Network Associate5+ years of IT industry experience, ideally in a manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of Windows platforms (Windows 10, Windows Server 2017, 2019, 2022)Strong understanding of networking (TCP/IP, router and switch configuration)Mobile Device Management experience (iOS)Hands-on experience with HP, Xerox, and Zebra printers/copiersProject coordination/management experienceDesired QualificationsCisco CCNP – Cisco Certified Network ProfessionalFortinet NSE – Network Security ExpertExperience with Hyper-V or VMwareExperience with Fortinet or Palo Alto firewallsCisco switch configuration and administrationExperience with acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment and systemsExperience in a chemical manufacturing facilityResponsibilitiesResolve Level 2/3 incidents and service requests (phone, email, walk-up, portal) within SLAProvision and maintain desktop/laptop hardware, peripherals, and softwareManage network printers, conference room equipment, digital signage, etc.Pilot and support Windows OS image deployments, updates, patchesCoordinate planned and unplanned IT service outages with stakeholdersEscalate incidents according to Incident Response proceduresMaintain documentation and knowledge base for fixes and proceduresSupport Lifecycle Management projects (Compute, IT-OT Infrastructure, DCS, Applications)Support implementation of new technologies (Digital Plant, IMM, PI, MES, LIMS, etc.)Handle procurement and goods receipt for IT and manufacturing projectsAssist with IT asset tracking (logical and physical)Support Windows server administration, backup, and recoveryCoordinate maintenance requests related to power, HVAC, cabling, etc.Assist with monitoring and network administration, including change and incident managementSupport IT Security teams with vulnerability and security incident responseSupport antivirus and WSUS patch management for enterprise systemsAssist ICS Security and Infrastructure teams with process control network maintenanceCoordinate IT-OT support for capital projects from design to commissioningCollaborate with process control, maintenance, instrumentation, and operations teams to prioritize workSupport the Manufacturing MOC process for control system changesCollaborate with IT and Security architects to update architecture diagrams and network connection documentation
