BENKER is a fast-growing, fully licensed Electronic Money Institution headquartered in Lithuania and serving clients across the EU/EEA. Known for its innovation, agility, and uncompromising compliance standards, Benker is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the company into its next phase of growth and transformation.This is an executive, high-impact role reporting directly to the Board of Directors and accountable for the overall success of the company. The successful candidate will be a visionary and strategic leader in the payments or banking sector, adept at steering a complex regulatory, competitive, and technological landscape.Key MandateDefine and communicate BENKER’s strategic vision, mission, and growth objectives in line with shareholder and market expectations.Lead the executive leadership team, fostering a strong culture of innovation, accountability, and operational excellence.Represent BENKER externally with regulators, partners, investors, and other key stakeholders, maintaining and enhancing the company’s market and regulatory reputation.Oversee key business drivers including regulatory compliance, risk management, product innovation, technology deployment, and customer experience.Ensure sustainable business growth through robust financial performance, market expansion, and operational efficiencies.Guide and influence the Board with timely, transparent, and actionable insights into business performance and strategic opportunities.Ensure business continuity, governance, and crisis management readiness at all times.Ideal ProfileExtensive senior executive leadership experience within an EMI, PSP, or regulated banking/payments entity in the EU or equivalent markets.Deep expertise in EU and Lithuanian payment regulations, including PSD2, AML/CTF compliance, and corporate governance.Proven ability to scale businesses profitably while maintaining rigorous compliance and risk frameworks.Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with a track record of inspiring high-performing teams.Established relationships and experience interfacing with European regulators and key industry stakeholders.Fluent in English and Lithuanian; additional languages such as Russian, German, or Spanish are advantageous.Must be approved or approvable by the Bank of Lithuania as a key function holder.Why This RoleUltimate strategic leadership— Shape the future of a licensed EMI at a crucial moment of scale-up and innovation.Board-level impact — Direct accountability to the Board and major shareholders.Attractive Compensation— Competitive, market-leading executive package with incentive alignment.If you are inspiring senior executive with a passion of driving the future of payments and digital finance across Europe, this is a unique opportunity to lead an elite and amazing team at BENKER.
