If you answered yes to any of these questions, we want to hear from you!What you will do: Reporting to the Head of Wholesale Continental Europe, Partnerships and HIFL, you will be responsible for oversight of the Asset Management business in Luxembourg. In this role, you will (but not limited to):Implement the Asset Management Group’s business strategy and operating objectives.Ensure the right organizational structure and resources are in place in HIFL and its branches working with the functional leads.Ensure that the operations of the company are both effective and efficient; this includes meeting Group’s requirements and adherence to the Group’s regulatory standards, the appropriate deployment of resources, the attainment of agreed operating plan objectives and the day-to-day management of the business.Ensure the entity operates in line with local regulations.Be accountable for country P&L management working with the Global Heads (Institutional, Wholesale, Operations and Investments).Develop relationships with key HSBC Group stakeholders, country teams, and regulatory authorities.You should apply if you have: Advanced degree, preferably in Finance, Business Management (MBA) or equivalent.Proven experience in Asset Management, financial services or capital markets with significant experience in a leadership role.Significant executive management experience across strategic planning, team building, financial and risk management.Deep knowledge of the Luxembourg Investment Fund industry, asset management investment capabilities and products.Knowledge of industry trends and understanding of the Luxembourg regulatory environment as well as competitor knowledge, including strengths and weaknesses and product range.Strong leadership, communication, influencing and collaborative skills.Even if you feel you do not meet 100% of our qualifications, we encourage you to apply, if you believe this role is right for you.If you’re looking for a career where you will be respected as an individual and valued for the contributions you make, please send your application letter and curriculum vitae (in English) to: luxrecruitment@lu.hsbc.com, and discover how diversity drives our success.Being open to different points of view is important for our business and the communities we serve.
