Administers prescribed, routine medications, treatments and PRN medications in accordance with company policies and procedures Observes residents for adverse reactions to medications and reports any concerns to the supervising nurse. Takes and records vital signs prior to administration of medications Documents the administration of medication in the resident’s record. Communicates all deviations in the delegated medication administration to the nurse. Assists the nurse in providing care to residents, which includes observation and reporting of resident needs. Prepares and stores medications in accordance with instructions of the manufacturer or pharmacist.
