Job Summary: The chainsaw operator draws on knowledge of tree characteristics, environmental conditions and cutting techniques to control the direction of fall and safely fell trees using a chainsaw in forestry thinning and clear-fell operations.Job Type: Full timeJob Location: Berekum-Bono Region, Akumadan-Ashanti RegionApplication deadline: 12h00 Midday on 30 June 2025Job ResponsibilitiesFell, debranch, top, and cross-cut trees assigned by the supervisor / manager.Ensure that the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is clean, in good working order, and worn at all times when performing your duties.Comply with all prescribed quality and safety standards.Follow standard operating procedures to check that the chain and machine’s safety features are in good working order before use.Safely maintain and repair the chain and equipment by sharpening, cleaning and lubricating them.Report all unsafe acts or conditions to the harvesting supervisor.EligibilityFemales and males may apply.A minimum of a Junior High School (JHS) certificate.Physically and mentally fit for the job.Be dependable, follow instructions, maintain a positive attitude, and possess good communication and interpersonal skills.Must have a valid NHIS card and SSNIT number.Deadline: 12h00 Midday on 02 June 2025An application letter, CV and copies of relevant certificates can be emailed to hr@formghana.org.Alternatively, hand-delivered hard copies at Form Ghana’s Sunyani, Berekum or Akumadan sites or post them to:The Human Resource and Development ManagerForm Ghana LimitedP.O.
