This role suits a strategic leader with experience in AI, SaaS, or enterprise software who can drive revenue growth and lead fundraising. As CEO, you will shape Aetheron’s long-term strategy, build a high-performing team, and represent the company to investors, customers, and partners. You will combine technical awareness with commercial insight, guide AI product development, expand market presence, and help foster a people-first, innovation-driven culture.ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & VisionDefine and drive the vision: Set the long-term strategy and product-market fit for Aetheron, ensuring alignment with customer needs and mission.Business planning: Develop business goals and OKRs and align all departments with the strategic roadmap.Industry insight: Track technology and industry trends in AI and ML to guide strategic decisions.Public representation: Represent Aetheron at conferences, in the media, and across industry forums, promoting our vision in AI.Fundraising & Financial StewardshipCapital strategy: Lead fundraising activity, investor engagement, and development of the investment story.Financial management: Oversee budgets, forecasting, financial performance, and resource allocation.Board liaison: Collaborate with the Board on strategy, performance, risk, and governance.Risk and compliance: Identify business risks and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.Sales, Partnerships & Market ExpansionRevenue growth: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies that drive growth and customer acquisition.Enterprise sales leadership: Engage with enterprise and government clients to secure key deals and guide complex sales cycles.Partnerships: Build strategic partnerships and alliances that strengthen market reach and product value.Marketing and brand: Oversee high-level marketing direction to enhance Aetheron’s profile and position in AI.Team Leadership & CultureBuild a high-performing team: Recruit and develop talent across the organisation while supporting leadership capability.People-first culture: Promote a culture of innovation, transparency, accountability, and inclusion.Organisational development: Scale structures, workflows, and communication processes to support growth.Employee growth and HR oversight: Support HR to deliver strong talent programs, feedback systems, and employee engagement.Operational ExcellenceDay-to-day operations: Oversee daily operations and delivery to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.Performance tracking: Establish key metrics and use insights to inform decisions and improvements.Process and scalability: Implement tools, systems, and processes that support efficiency and scale.Quality and security: Maintain high standards of reliability, data privacy, security, and ethical AI.Stakeholder Engagement & GovernanceInvestor relations: Build positive relationships with investors through clear and proactive communication.Board and advisors: Work effectively with the Board and advisors to guide strategy and governance.Customer and community engagement: Engage customers and represent Aetheron in industry and community forums.Corporate governance: Ensure strong policies, controls, and governance across the organisation.QualificationsEssential RequirementsAt least 8 years of leadership experience in AI, SaaS, enterprise software, or related technology sectors.Proven success in an executive role with full P and L responsibility and business growth results.Experience raising capital and managing investors.Strong strategic planning, financial acumen, and analytical capability.Ability to drive revenue growth in B2B or enterprise markets with complex sales cycles.Solid understanding of technology and product development, including AI and ML concepts.Strong leadership and people-management skills with a collaborative and inclusive style.Excellent written and verbal communication and confident presentation skills.Hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset suited to fast-paced and high-growth environments.Highly DesirableKnowledge of AI, machine learning, and emerging technologies in enterprise or government contexts.Network within the technology and venture community.Founder or C-level experience in a high-growth technology company.Experience with enterprise or public sector clients and compliance requirements.MBA or relevant postgraduate qualifications are beneficial but not essential.Experience in governance, board reporting, compliance, or industry thought leadership.Why Join AetheronCompetitive salary package.Flexible remote working environment.Opportunities to work with AI-first tools and shape best practice.Supportive culture that values curiosity, accountability, and growth.At Aetheron, we are looking for someone who wants to grow with us and bring fresh ideas to help our business become smarter, faster, and AI-powered.
