The organisation is a leading hospitality and community hub in Far North Queensland, delivering exceptional member experiences through dining, gaming, entertainment, sport and community initiatives.With multiple venues and a strong football and community presence, the Club is committed to innovation, excellence, and connection. With a workforce of over 130 staff, it is the place of best practice, aiming to provide an excellence in customer service experiences to all the loyal members and guests.Your new role As a member-first leader, the Chief Operations Officer (COO) will be a strategic and visionary force behind the operational excellence of Brothers. With a strong foundation in hospitality and gaming, the COO will drive growth, innovation and community engagement with a commercial lens. Reporting to the CEO, the COO will be responsible for:Shape and execute operational strategies aligned with the Board's and CEO's vision for Brothers.Oversee all club operations including hospitality, gaming, events, and property development.Lead and develop cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional member experiences and commercial outcomes.Collaborate with the wider senior leadership team to identify and implement revenue growth and efficiency initiatives.Ensure compliance with industry regulations and uphold the highest standards of service and governance.Build strategic partnerships and stakeholder relationships to support future development and funding.What you'll need to succeed Proven senior leadership experience in operations within hospitality and gaming, ideally across multiple venues.Demonstrated success in leading large, complex teams and delivering strategic and commercial outcomes.Bachelor's degree in hospitality, Management, or a related field.Proven experience as a COO or in a senior operations role within a hospitality, club, or member-based organisation.The successful COO candidate will be an outstanding leader, an excellent communicator with high emotional intelligence and display strong personal attributes that allow you to mix comfortably with people from all walks of life.
