Chief Technology Officer (CTO) - Permanent

Company Type: Startup Position Type: Permanent Location: Lucerne (flexible work format: office + remote)Role: Chief Technology Officer (CTO)Main Responsibilities:Design and develop the first version of the product (mobile app + backend).Define tech stack and architecture.Set up infrastructure (deployment, CI/CD, analytics, monitoring).Develop MVP of mobile application (e.g., React Native).Create backend API.Integrate payments, authentication, analytics, notifications.Work closely with CEO on product priorities.Build engineering processes and participate in hiring future team.Requirements:Mandatory Skills:4+ years of development experience (mobile + backend).Strong knowledge of at least one cross-platform framework (Flutter or React Native).Experience building APIs and working with databases.Understanding of DevOps tools.Experience publishing apps to App Store and Google Play.Fluent English.Nice-to-Have Skills:German language skills.Experience in a startup or as Lead Engineer / Tech Lead.Soft Skills:Ability to take responsibility and work independently.Leadership and team-building capabilities.Strong communication skills.
