The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) acts as a trusted advisor to Spinnaker Support's clients, providing high-level technology strategy, roadmap guidance, and thought leadership. In this consultative role, the CTO partners with customer success managers and account executives to align technology decisions with business objectives, advise on optimizing IT investments, and prepare organizations for future innovation. Incorporate Spinnaker Support's offerings such as 3rd party support and cloud / managed services as part of roadmap.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Advisory & Roadmap DevelopmentServe as a strategic advisor to clients, helping define and shape their long-term technology roadmaps. Assess client technology environments and provide tailored recommendations that drive business value and mitigate risk. Promote and drive executive-level discussions on IT strategy, transformation, and innovation related to portfolio of services and future state. Participate and support new sales activities to position the opportunities from the beginningThought Leadership & Industry InsightAct as a visible thought leader, educating clients and potential clients on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices. Represent Spinnaker Support at client engagements, executive briefings, and industry forums. Provide ongoing guidance on how to leverage innovation to achieve competitive advantage and improved customer outcomes. Consultative PartnershipWork alongside client leadership teams as a virtual extension of their executive staff. Collaborate with Sales, Account Management, and Delivery teams to ensure client technology strategies are well supported. Channel client needs and market insights back into Spinnaker Support's solution development strategy.Innovation & Risk ManagementHelp clients evaluate new technologies and solutions, balancing opportunities for innovation with security, compliance, and operational resilience. Share cross-industry benchmarks and best practices to guide client decision-making. Support co-innovation initiatives with clients to test and scale new approaches. Qualifications7+ years extensive experience in senior technology leadership or advisory roles, ideally serving as a CIO, CTO, or equivalent consultant. Strong expertise in technology strategy, enterprise architecture, Cloud, AI and IT governance. Exceptional communication and executive presence, with proven ability to influence at the board and C-level.
