For us, excellence in education is a journey, and we're with you every step of the way.For more information, see our website.LocationPositions Available AtLeppington (Emerald Hills) – 160-place centreGregory Hills – 114-place centreBoth positions are for Nominated Supervisor (NS) roles.The RoleAs a Nominated Supervisor, you are responsible for the guidance, support, and general supervision of children, staff, and volunteers at the service. You will lead a team of Educators to ensure they work in accordance with the service philosophy, policies, procedures, and the National Quality Standards (NQS), to provide high-quality education and care for all enrolled children.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children, staff, and volunteers.Act as the Responsible Person in Charge (RPIC) at the service.Train and support staff in understanding, designing, and implementing the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the Montessori Curriculum.Ensure staff fulfil all aspects of their job descriptions.Provide ongoing support to the management team in administrative processes, curriculum development, parent and community engagement, staff development, and other operational areas as required.Promote the service and support healthy enrolments to ensure optimal centre occupancy.Key CompetenciesStrong understanding of industry legislation, compliance, and regulationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong understanding of business managementAbility to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environmentStrong understanding of the importance of family communicationLeadership, mentoring, and people-management skillsCurriculum planning expertiseUnderstanding of the Montessori PhilosophyPassion for implementing early learning programsCommitment to the holistic development of childrenEssential Criteria2+ years’ experience managing a childcare serviceDiploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA-approved), or working towards this qualificationCurrent Working with Children CheckAbility to work shifts between 7:00am–6:00pm, Monday to FridayFirst Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)Sound understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF), including the National Regulations, NQS, and EYLFBenefits for the Right CandidateLucrative salary commensurate with experienceExcellent career advancement opportunitiesFantastic training and professional development programsSupportive management team with a flat organisational structureStrong focus on work-life balanceGreat company culture that is fun, professional, and supportiveThink you have what it takes to join the Montessori Academy team?
