You will play a vital role in delivering individualised care to young people referred to our service, helping them grow, develop new skills, and overcome challenges.Why Join Us as a Children’s Residential Social Care Worker:Flexible Rostering focused on work-life balanceCore Professional Training in essential subjectsTeam-Building Activities & Social EventsEducation Assistance GrantsHealth Insurance Grant & Life InsuranceIncremental Pay ScalePension Contribution MatchResponsibilities:Develop and implement individualised Behaviour Support Plans and Placement PlansSupport young people with educational activities, both at home and in schoolDeliver responsive residential care aligned with the Odyssey ModelMaintain accurate daily records and communicate with parents, professionals, and referral agentsParticipate in team meetings, training, and service developmentManage petty cash, assist with domestic routines, and contribute to a homely environmentUphold safeguarding protocols, confidentiality, and company policiesEducational Requirements:A minimum Level 7 qualification in Social Care or a relevant and related field that meets the criteria to be registered as a Social Care Worker with CORU.Relevant Alternative Qualifications Include:QQI Level 8 in PsychologyQQI Level 7 or Professional Practice Qualification in Child & Adolescent PsychotherapyQQI Level 7 or Professional Practice Qualification in Counselling / PsychotherapyQQI Level 7 or Professional Practice Qualification in Addiction CounsellingQQI Level 7 in Youth and Community or similarQQI Level 7 in Social Science / Social StudiesQQI Level 7 in Family SupportProfessional Qualification in Teaching (Not TEFL)Professional Qualification in Nursing StudiesQQI Level 7 in Disability StudiesQQI Level 7 in Applied Behavioural AnalysisQQI Level 7 in Early Years Care where centre caters for children under 12 years.BA in Applied Policing or equivalentHolder of Higher Certificate in Custodial Care (Irish Prison Service) or equivalentNo qualification or non-relevant qualification but holder of CORU registration as a Social Care worker.
