Our client is currently seeking for a civil engineering intern.Role ResponsibilitiesAssist senior engineers in designing civil engineering projects.Utilize AutoCAD to create detailed technical drawings and plans.Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and requirements.Support the project management team with scheduling and logistics.Participate in project documentation and reporting.Help prepare project cost estimates and budgets.Collaborate with architects and other engineers to ensure project efficacy.Research materials and methods for use in projects.Prepare presentations for project proposals and updates.Attend project meetings to discuss progress and concerns.Assist in environmental assessments and compliance monitoring.Maintain project records and files accurately.Engage in professional development opportunities including workshops.Contribute ideas for process improvements and innovation.Network with professionals in the civil engineering field.QualificationsCurrently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Civil Engineering or related field.Familiarity with AutoCAD and other design software.Strong understanding of civil engineering principles.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.Detail-oriented approach to tasks and projects.Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of project management methodologies (preferred).Previous internships or relevant experience (preferred).Strong organizational skills.Proficient numerical skills for calculations and estimations.Ability to interpret technical documents and reports.Work EnvironmentThis position is on-site in Australia, providing an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional civil engineering setting.
