About The RoleInsurance is integral to Uber's operations and growth, and insurance claims are an essential part of Uber's insurance program. The Associate reviews low-severity and high-frequency losses in the International markets to provide accurate information to Uber's insurance partners based in Mexico. Additionally, the Associate must ensure that proper information is being ingested into our internal systems. This is where, as a Claims Associate, you have an opportunity to make a significant impact on Uber's business success. This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure to programs and processes across multiple regions and countries.Willing To Work Depending On Business Needs Evening shift timings (8 PM to 5 AM) and Weekend shifts covering Saturday & Sunday. Remotely or from home, occasionally on weekends. What You'll Do Manage an inventory of claims to evaluate covered losses. Investigate new claims by reviewing first reports of loss and supporting materials to determine the best initial contact; communicate with claimants, drivers, passengers, witnesses, etc. Build internal reporting processes and procedures for auto-related and personal accident claims, which will scale with Uber's growth. Develop, maintain, and analyze appropriate metrics, governance, and control mechanisms for specialized claims handling Constantly improve the claim process to keep up with Uber's expansion, new products, and new insurance policies. What You'll Need Bachelor's Degree or equivalent. Fluent in oral and written English. Up to 3 years of Safety investigations and Claims service experience. Professional capability in other languages (Spanish) is a plus. Effective written and verbal communication skills to provide information clearly and concisely and to communicate with a variety of individuals. Effective analytical skills to gather information, analyze facts, and make recommendations. Proficient in Google platform tools and Excel skills.
