The company also invests in crew development, training, and career growth.About the RoleWe are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Claims Handler to manage day-to-day insurance matters, coordinate with insurers and stakeholders, and play a key role in both routine operations and emergency situations. Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the main point of contact for insurers regarding claims, queries, and documentation.Prepare, submit, and follow up on claims, ensuring completeness and accuracy.Participate in the Emergency Response Team and coordinate communications during incidents.Maintain detailed records of incidents, activities, and associated costs.Open and manage claims in the ERP system, ensuring timely updates to insurers.Review and verify claim-related invoices and supporting documents.Record insurance policies, create POs for insurance expenses, and support invoice approvals.Generate periodic reports for the insurance department.QualificationsMinimum 3 years of relevant experience in claims handling or insurance administration.Proficient in MS Office; ERP system experience preferred.Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.Highly organized, proactive, and detail-focused.Team player with a positive attitude.Experience in the maritime/shipping industry is a plus.
