Reporting to the Principal or their delegate, the Cleaner will ensure all duties are completed to a high standard in accordance with the approved school cleaning program.Key Responsibilities IncludePerform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and waste disposal.Clean and sanitise classrooms, toilets, offices, and communal areas.Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas, including paved surfaces and drains.Support basic site security procedures, including locking and unlocking buildings.Report maintenance, safety, or security concerns to relevant personnel.This role would suit someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating a clean and welcoming environment for students and staff.About YouThe following traits would be beneficial:Experience in cleaning or maintenance roles.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.Good communication skills to liaise with staff and report concerns.Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and priorities.Why Join UsAt Kenmore State High School, you will be part of a supportive and inclusive community that values respect, belonging, and growth.
