Meet the TeamThe Cisco Asset Manager plays a critical role within Cisco's Asset Management Services team, which is designed to provide customers with near real-time Installed Base (IB) information. This service enables customers to effectively manage the lifecycle of their Cisco HW and SW assets, make informed business decisions, and optimize their technology investments. The Asset Manager is instrumental in enabling Cisco’s recurring revenue business by ensuring IB data is clean, actionable, and renewable. This role requires a deeper understanding of the customer’s IB than the customers themselves, providing significant actionable insights, reducing risks, and driving operational excellence. It is a customer engagement position responsible for delivering Asset Management services to multiple Cisco customers.Your ImpactAs a Cisco Asset Manager, you will serve as the single point of contact for customers, partners, and internal Cisco stakeholders—including Sales/account and Customer Experience (CX) teams—to handle, track, report, and resolve issues related to customers' Cisco Installed Base (IB) data. You will support customers in managing the lifecycle of hardware and software assets to mitigate operational and financial risks, optimize Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), and improve overall customer experience through proactive identification and correction of data discrepancies. This is a high-impact role where your expertise in data analysis, stakeholder collaboration, and reporting will directly shape the customer experience and contribute significantly to Cisco's long-term success and recurring revenue goals.Key Responsibilities & Job Duties Ensure accurate Installed Base (IB) management by validating customer assets, contracts, and coverage. Lead the implementation of Asset Management Services, including onboarding new customers and aggregating IB data from different sources. Deliver actionable business insights using Data analytics skills and best guidelines to customers.Resolve MACD (Move, Add, Change, Delete) discrepancies to maintain IB accuracy.Drive continuous improvement in IB data management processes.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including Sales, Customer -- Experience (CX) teams, and partners, to deliver seamless service. Generate detailed reports and dashboards using tools like Tableau, Excel, and Power BI to communicate insights effectively. Lead client calls, participate in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and conduct on-site visits as required. Take ownership of customer IB data accuracy and implement action plans for data cleanup and maintenance. Aggregate and reconcile IB data from diverse sources for a complete view.Who You'll Work WithCustomers and Partners: Serve as a trusted advisor for Cisco's Asset Management services, directly engaging with clients and their partners.Internal Teams: Collaborate closely with Cisco's Customer Experience (CX) teams, Sales/account teams, and other internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and success.Multi-Functional Teams: Partner across various groups within Cisco to deliver seamless outcomes and drive critical initiatives.Minimum Qualification Bachelor's degree or equivalent. 2 to 3 years of customer engagement experience, with at least 1 to 2 years specifically in asset management or related data analysis experience, leveraging AI/ML. Advanced proficiency in Excel (macros, pivots, formulas, slicing) for data analysis and audits. Demonstrate ability to analyze large raw datasets and conduct comprehensive data analysis. Demonstrated track record in leading client interactions and influencing stakeholders. Good communication skills, assertiveness, and a solid sense of ownership.Preferred Qualifications Solid understanding of Cisco's Installed Base management tools and processes. Proficiency in data visualization and storytelling to communicate complex insights. Experience managing Multi-functional teams and complex customer engagements. Knowledge of Cisco's recurring revenue business and lifecycle management strategies. Familiarity with Cisco products and services.
