Your Future Team:Vigilant Wealth Management, a growing wealth management practice with approximately $3.3 billion under management as of October 2025, is looking for a Client Relationship Associate to join our talented team. You will work closely with a team of Wealth Advisors and other CRAs to deliver our wealth planning value proposition to clients who are high net worth individuals and families.This is a hybrid position, based in our Portland, ME or Portsmouth, NH office and work from home, with occasional travel between the two offices. You will report to the Principal.What You'll Do:Direct support of Wealth Advisors and their books of businessEnsure the Wealth Advisor is prepared for all client/COI/prospect meetingsAssist with the creation and updating of client wealth plans, prepare presentations and other paperworkLead the onboarding of new clients, preparing account opening documents, working with clients and the custodian to provide an accurate and expeditious onboarding processManage internal client files, ensuring all data is current and accurateWork with clients and related parties to process all manner of transactions including account opening, money movements, gifting, transfers of assets between custodians, and other account maintenance needsInterface with the teams at Schwab Advisor Center and Fidelity, downloading and uploading forms, monitoring and verifying changes in the system, resolving issues and staying current with changing proceduresWork with our professional advisors, including CPAs, Estate Attorneys, Insurance Agents and othersInput and track client related data; ensure consistency and integrity across all technology platformsAid in client retention by providing exceptional client service; track and monitor client service standards and prompt Wealth Advisor to take action as neededManage your Wealth Advisors' calendars, schedule and organize activities, meetings, coordinate travel needsMonitor publications to identify prospective clients and discover information about existing clients, locate opportunities for marketing events, attend offsite events as appropriateUnderstand and implement practice compliance responsibilitiesPlay an active role in different practice committees and participate in bi-weekly CRA team meetings – prepare and contribute thoughts for agendas, raise concerns, suggest solutions, look for and implement efficiency and process improvementSkills and Requirements:Proficient in Microsoft Office suiteKnowledge of or open to learning the Tamarac Suite (portfolio accounting software),SalesForce (CRM), WebEx, and Schwab Institutional and Fidelity's Wealthscape websites a plusStrong oral and written skillsWell-developed presentation skillsAttention to detail as it relates to composing, typing and proofing materialsResourceful, analyzing and solving problems in a proactive manner· Ability to exercise discretion with regard to confidential information and client sensitive situations; position requires tact and diplomacyAbility to work beyond standard office hours and attend offsite events, as necessary, while managing and accounting for work time What You'll Bring:Four year college degree 2 or more years experience or in a support role a plus2 or more years experience or in financial services a plusExperience with CRM related software is a plusExperience with Schwab and Fidelity Advisor platforms is a plusWhat We Offer:Fantastic office location in downtown Portsmouth & PortlandGreat compensation package and bonus planExcellent benefitsHealth, Dental & Vision InsuranceHSA & FSA options401KEmployer-paid Life and Disability InsuranceGenerous PTO planBi-annual company eventsOur StoryFounded in 2008, Hightower is a wealth management firm that provides investment, financial and retirement planning services to individuals, foundations and family offices, as well as 401(k) consulting and cash management services to corporations.
