Job Description

Job Title: Client Services ManagerLocation: North LondonReports to: CEO and COOSector: Commercial Cleaning (High-end corporate clients)Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + CommissionPurpose of the RoleMaintain strong, proactive relationships with clients, ensuring service quality, retention, and client satisfaction across a high-touch commercial approach. Act as the operational liaison between clients and the internal operations team. Intervene early when issues or opportunities arise, and uphold a service culture built on responsiveness, professionalism, and personable client engagement.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary contact for all clients below at differing contract value levels.Manage and oversee the client-services inbox through a direct report, ensuring timely, accurate responses and appropriate escalation.Identify early indicators of dissatisfaction, service gaps, or opportunities to add value; proactively engage clients when triggered.Conduct regular client meetings, site visits, and audit reviewsBuild strong relationships through both professional meetings and occasional hospitality for high-value accounts.Collaborate closely with the Senior Account Director for seamless coverage of high-ticket clients.Maintain close alignment with Operations to ensure issues are resolved quickly and standards are upheld.Contribute to client retention, stability, and overall service excellence.Experience RequirementsEssential: demonstrable experience within the commercial cleaning sector.Essential: operational understanding of cleaning service delivery in corporate environments.Essential: client-facing account management experience with multi-site or high-volume portfolios.Skills & CompetenciesHighly personable, outgoing, confident communicator.Strong relationship-builderAble to manage volume and complexity across a large client base.Strong judgement on when to escalate, intervene, or visit a client.Organised, proactive, and responsive.Comfortable working in a non-hierarchical environment where everyone is hands-on.Working PatternLondon-based role with frequent travel across client sites (company-funded Travelcard).Expectation of regular in-person client engagement.
