SUPPLY OFFICERNEW CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE IN BELFAST FOR A SUPPLY OFFICER Full time on-site in Belfast Contract until November 2026 £29ph via Umbrella 35 hour week, with premium overtime rates for any overtime BPSS clearance required prior to starting WHAT WILL THE SUPPLY OFFICER BE DOING?The role of the Supply Chain Coordinator involves managing a portfolio of suppliers acting as the main on-site liaison between suppliers and internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless material flow, performance management, and supplier recovery where needed. This role plays a vital part in improving operational efficiency, driving continuous improvement, and shaping the future of the supply chain through digitalisation and transformation initiatives.WHAT YOU’LL BE DOINGManaging a portfolio of suppliers daily using existing and emerging digital tools.Anticipating risks, manage demand and forecasts, and drive proactive mitigation actions.Leading and driving supplier recoveries, ensuring on-time and in-full delivery performance.Challenging supplier performance and ensure corrective actions are implemented.Acting as the first point of contact for supply chain queries from operations.Coordinating supplier working parties and manage order books, including maintaining MRP Master Data.Using data management tools to analyse performance and make informed decisions.Optimising stock levels and ordering strategies for procured goods.Partnering with Supply Chain Quality Managers and Commercial Buyers to deliver an integrated procurement approach.Contributing to supply chain transformation projects, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement.WE NEED THE SUPPLY OFFICER TO HAVE THE FOLLOWING…Solid experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Manufacturing Engineering Strong understanding of MRP and SAP within a manufacturing or engineering environment.Proven supplier-facing experience, including performance management and recovery activities.Experience with digital tools and automation within a supply chain context.A good understanding of LEAN and project management principles.TO BE CONSIDERED….Please either apply by clicking online or emailing me directly to ryan.baker@searchability.com.
