Position OverviewThe Clinical Change Lead – Clinical Informatics plays a pivotal role in driving the digital transformation of clinical documentation and electronic health record (EHR) workflows. This role leads change management initiatives across clinical workflows, ensuring that digital solutions are aligned with the needs of clinicians and frontline users. Working collaboratively with Clinical Informatics, clinical leaders, and frontline teams, the Clinical Change Lead guides staff through workflow redesign, readiness, and adoption of electronic documentation practices. Through effective engagement, communication, and evidence-based improvement strategies, this role ensures the successful implementation of technologies and processes that enhance patient care, documentation quality, and clinician experience.Education Regulated Health Professional (e.g., RN, RPN, MD, NP, or Allied Health professional). Bachelor’s degree in a health-related discipline required. Master’s degree in a clinical field or related healthcare discipline is considered an asset. Certification in Change Management (e.g., PROSCI) preferred.Experience Minimum 5 years of direct clinical experience as a healthcare practitioner (RN, RPN, NP, MD, or Allied Health) in a hospital or healthcare setting. Demonstrated experience leading or supporting clinical change initiatives or workflow improvements. Experience in assessing and improving clinical documentation practices or patient care processes referred. Proven ability to engage and collaborate with clinicians, frontline staff, and clinical leaders to implement new practices or technologies. Experience applying Lean Six Sigma, process improvement, or change management principles considered an asset. Previous involvement in clinical projects, EHR or electronic documentation implementation, or quality improvement initiatives desirable. Experience with Oracle Cerner is a strong asset Demonstrated commitment to on-going learning (i.e. workshops, seminars) Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools Demonstrated organizational and time management skills Self-directed; demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written Able to work effectively in a fast paced and diverse organization Demonstrated ability to manage confidential data All employees of Michael Garron Hospital (MGH), a division of Toronto East Health Network (TEHN) [formerly Toronto East General Hospital (TEGH)]agree to work within the legislated practices of the Occupational Health and Safety Act of Ontario.
