PEDS-ADOLESCENT MEDICINEFull Time86722BRJob SummaryCRC, you will execute, manage, and coordinate a research protocol for a study assessing the effects of a cutting-edge, novel therapeutic on adolescent and young adults with mental health conditions, including young people with eating disorders.The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.The salary range for this position is $37.12 - $59.69 (Hourly Rate).To learn more about the benefits of working at UCSF, including total compensation, please visit: https://ucnet.universityofcalifornia.edu/compensation-and-benefits/index.htmlDepartment DescriptionThe Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine at UCSF is held within the Department of Pediatrics and Benioff Children’s Hospitals in San Francisco and Oakland. The Division includes 18 interdisciplinary faculty members, including physicians, nutritionists, psychologists, and public health experts, who contribute to a robust body of research and clinical work. Faculty from the Division co-lead UCSF’s Eating Disorder Program.The UCSF Eating Disorders Program is a comprehensive, evidence-based program that supports cutting-edge clinical trials and provides outstanding clinical care for individuals with eating disorders (between 10-25) and their families, including family-based and individual treatments. Our program is a collaboration between Child and Adolescent Services in the Department of Psychiatry and the Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics.Required QualificationsHS graduation and sufficient experience and demonstrated skills to successfully perform the assigned duties and responsibilities; and/or equivalent experience/trainingAttention to detail; strong interpersonal skills; excellent, effective verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with subjects, team members, other departments and outside institutions; and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while working with a diverse subject populationAbility to work well independently, complete projects in a timely manner, and prioritize multiple projects to ensure the completion of essential tasks by deadlinesExperience in a community or medical setting or working with research study participants.
