Job Description

The Medical Physics Department of The South Tees NHS Foundation Trust comprises four main sections; Radiotherapy, Nuclear Medicine, Clinical Measurement and Medical Photography.The Clinical Measurement Section delivers scientific clinical support and development work for a range of specialties including intraoperative neuromonitoring, intracranial pressure measurement, overnight home sleep studies and UV quality assurance.The postholder will be part of the Clinical Measurement team and will be responsible for the delivery of an upper and lower GI physiology service for patients in the Tees Valley. They will perform, interpret, and report on a range of diagnostic tests, ensuring a professional and patient focused service.Duties IncludeDiagnostic testing and analysis for upper and lower GI studiesClinical reportingPatient careQuality assurance Service developmentMDT collaborationWe support the Making Every Contact Count approach to behaviour change in the promotion of health and wellbeing of individuals and communities.SkillsSouth Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust offers leadership and improvement training to all new staff.
