Job Description

Goal of the position :Clinical Support offers extensive technical support for clinical users before, during and after the product application with the objective to further promote the safety and efficacy of it. In addition , supports and performs trainings of users, distributors, and the Acandis staff and is responsible to prepare and transfer the experiences, which he gained during his activities in the field, to the R&D department of Medical Therapies in a way that they support and initiate product optimizations and/or trigger new developments.Main tasks of Clinical Support Specialist :· attends clinical cases and supports users directly before and during the application· shares his expertise and experiences about the products with the users, answers questions and actively supports the clinical application· in preparation of a clinical case , assists the user with the selection of a product size and if applicable uses available software tools to analyse more details about the case· in consultation with the sales department and/or country distributor(s) , cooperates with any additional proctoring activities to support a case· in order to conclude a supported case , composes a report according to the standards and regulations of Acandis · product trainings and workshops : on request,o organizes and performs workshops with clinical users and their staff on their premises or in any other clinic. Furthermoreo organizes and performs theoretical and practical hands on trainings of clinical users, distributors or Acandis staff in Pforzheim or at international meetings· product launches support· Heal technologies promotion· studies / registries follow up support· support of the Medical Therapies Development:· prepares and transfers clinical and technical findings and experiences during activities in the field to the key responsible expert of the according Medical Therapy , to gain all possible knowledge which helps Acandis to improve products and processes· supports the R&D experts of the Medical Therapies by carrying out specific tasks (i.e. information gathering, discussions with users, performance of minor tests, …)· supports the international sales team in consultation with his supervisor and carries out typical activities like visits, product presentations, needs assessment and relationship management· readiness for up to 90% travel activityRequirements :· Expertiseo deep understanding of the products and the addressed therapieso experience in the clinical environment by working in a clinical institution (ideally in a department of neuroradiology) or as an employee of a medical device company in the area of sales or clinical supporto economically responsible acting and thinkingo analytical and structural acting and thinkingo must pass all tests and expert levels designed for clinical support of Acandis training system· Social competences : team orientedo communicative and representative skills in direct contact with clinical users and other business units of Acandiso load-bearing capacityo high reliabilityo independent functioning and diligence· Methodical expertise : skills in information gathering, structuring, editing and presentation of resultso Solution-oriented· Readiness for up to 90% travel activity· PL & ENG languageDriving licence category B
