Role Overview We are looking for a Cloud Engineer (1–3 years of experience) to support, administer, and develop the infrastructure of our Data & Advanced Analytics Platform (DAAP) on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role combines Cloud / DevOps technical skills with system and user administration, environment maintenance, and operational support.Responsibilities:Administer cloud infrastructure in GCP: - manage services (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, IAM); - create, update, and remove users and access roles; - control resources, quotas, and budgets. Maintain dev / stage / prod environments, update configurations and access. Participate in building CI/CD pipelines in Bitbucket Pipelines. Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform / Ansible. Containerize services with Docker and deploy to GKE. Configure monitoring, logging, and backups (Prometheus, Grafana, Stackdriver). Document infrastructure, users, and policies in Confluence. Support Data Engineers / DevOps in deploying data products and services.Key Requirements:1–3 years of experience as a Cloud / System / DevOps Engineer or AdministratorHands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Compute, Storage, IAM, BigQuery)Knowledge of Linux, Docker, Terraform, and basic network security principlesExperience managing users, groups, and access policies (IAM / SSO)Understanding of CI/CD principles (Bitbucket Pipelines / GitLab / Jenkins)Basic Bash / Python scripting for automationEnglish — Intermediate+ (for documentation and communication). Nice to Have: Certification as Google Associate Cloud Engineer.Knowledge of Airflow, DBT, Dataflow, Vertex AI. Understanding of Data Governance / DQ / Compliance principles. Experience with cost optimization and quota monitoring in GCP Billing.We Offer:Mentorship from senior Cloud / DevOps Engineers.
