CLOUD ENGINEER WITH KAF DIGITAL BANKJob Summary:We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic digital bankingteam. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure to ensure its scalability, reliability, and security. You will work closely with cross- functional teams to deploy and optimize cloud-based solutions that align with our businessobjectives. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of cloud computing technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for staying up to date with the latest industry trends.Responsibilities:• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure & highly available cloud infrastructure solutionsand cloud-based network infrastructure (including VPCs, subnets, VPNs, load balancing, etc.)• Collaborate with development and operations teams to define cloud architecture requirements and ensure smooth integration with existing systems.• Implement and maintain secure network configurations within cloud environments, includingfirewalls, security groups, NACLs, and VPNs to safeguard the organization’s cloud-based resources.• Implement automation and configuration management tools to streamline deployment and operations processes.• Plan and implement cloud security best practises , including identity and access management, encryption and vulnerability scanning.• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, addressing any issues and ensuring maximum uptime.• Conduct regular security assessments and implement appropriate measures to protect data and systems.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement cloud best practices and standards.• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on our cloud infrastructure and recommending adoption where appropriate.• Provide technical guidance and support to other team members as needed.• Document cloud infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures and maintain detaildocumentation on cloud network architecture, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent workexperience). Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or in a similar role. In-depth knowledge of cloud computing platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Proficiency in deploying and managing virtualized environments, containers, and serverless architectures. Strong understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and best practices for cloud environments. Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, such as Terraform or Cloud Formation. Familiarity with scripting and automation using languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributedsystems. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a teamenvironment. Relevant cloud certifications, such as Azure Administrator or AWS Certified Solutions Architect, are a plus.
