Professional Plastics is an equal opportunity employer and offers competitive pay and benefits.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following, as well as other duties that may be assigned.Sets up machine tooling to accurately trim parts in in a fast paced, deadline driven environmentReads code, drawings and work instructions to set up and run machinery accordinglyReads blueprint and/or job order for product specifications, including dimensions and tolerancesDesigns and build fixtures to assist in trimming formed plastic partsPerforms part inspection and verification to ensure parts meet quality standards as requiredWorks with Quality team to correct non-conforming partsKeeps machining area neat and orderlyDaily inspects equipment and performs scheduled maintenance as neededWorks with production team to identify process inefficiencies and suggest process improvementsKnowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesMinimum 2+ years machine operation required (preferably 5-axis routers)Ability to read and write G and M codeExperience using various measurement equipment and hand toolsKnowledge of cutting tools and application, feeds and speeds, and tool setupKnowledge and understanding of GD&T principles and precision measurementAbility to troubleshoot machine processesAbility to work independently and stay on task with minimal directionExperience working in a manufacturing environment using various equipment and hand tools in a proper and safe mannerExperience with Fanuc controls a plusExperience with vacuum workholding a plusExperience machining plastics a plusEducation and Experience: (Required and preferred educational and experiential qualifications)High School Diploma or equivalentExperience in Mastercam, SolidWorks or other 3D CAD software a plusCNC trade school certification or equivalent a plusBenefits PackageDailyPay Earned Wage AccessMedicalDentalVisionFlexible Spending Account401K Plan with Company MatchBasic Life and AD&DVoluntary Life InsuranceLong Term DisabilityEmployee Assistance ProgramPaid Time Off (PTO)Paid HolidaysMorgan Stanley Financial AdviceAccident, Critical Illness and Hospital IndemnityMetLife Legal PlanNorton LifeLockUnited Pet Care Discount ProgramLifeMart Employee DiscountsPhysical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
