They ensure buildings within the Christchurch community meet the requirements of the Building Act 2004, Resource Management Act 1991, and associated regulations. They do this by processing and authorising the issue of code compliance certificates.Using their excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills, Code Compliance Assessors make consistent and confident decisions while managing risk and liability. They balance thoroughness with efficiency and make sure our customers receive top level service throughout the process.About you | Ko Koe TēneiWe are looking for people who have a positive attitude, can think outside the square, and thrive in fast paced environments. An understanding of the building industry and the construction build sequence is essential. Previous experience working in a BCA, or relevant qualifications such as Building Control Surveying, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, or Construction Trades would be an advantage. We work in some specialist systems in this role, so being tech savvy is a must.What's in it for you?
