In our Los Angeles office, the Content team of Sereal+ works closely with local studios and talent to create high-quality original vertical dramas. Position Overview As a Junior Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating, assembly, and editing videos. We are seeking candidates with 1-3 years of experience in short video editing with a strong understanding of online short-form platforms such as DramaBox & ReelShort. Proficiency in storytelling is a must. Responsibilities β Syncing sound, creating multicams, organizing media bins, turnover, and editing shows from start to finish.
β Work closely with our production and post production teams to ensure pacing, emotion, and tonality are properly delivered in the final product. β Receive performance data from our marketing team and apply these statistics to each prospective edit. β Troubleshoot post-launch issues and verify all deliverables meet our platformβs standard of excellence. β Stay up to date on current trends especially in the vertical drama realm. β Continuously seek to improve editing skills, techniques, and motivation. Requirements β Work on-site at our office in Glendale, CA - 5 days a week.
β Proficient in English β Experienced in video editing & video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, and Adobe After Effects (Davinci is a plus). β Ability to follow directions and solve problems. β Must be a team player. Ready to work. Excited to learn and eager to grow. β Must desire to be a part of something bigger than themselves. β Meet goals and deadlines while maintaining quality. β Must be detail oriented and strive for perfection. β Strong creative thinker and proactive in seeking out new solutions. β Must be familiar with social media platforms including but not limited to: YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
